Description

　　Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join a well-respected company. As part of the management team, the director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills. This may be the role for you if you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company.

　　How you will make an impact

　　Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

　　Perform analysis on operating results, comparing against budget

　　Manage daily operations of the finance and accounting department

　　Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

　　Hire, train, and retain finance staff

　　Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions

　　Suggest benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance

　　Review and maintain budgeting and forecasting models

　　Take ownership of insurance and risk management

　　Direct, review, and prepare budget management and financial planning functions

　　Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal

　　Collaborate with department managers to develop five-year business plans

　　Oversee the preparation of all financial reports

　　Manage the operating procedures of the department, including short- and long-range goals, objectives, and policies

　　Requirements - Extremely detailed and analytical

　　Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

　　MBA or CPA is preferred

　　Experience with higher level functionality in Microsoft Excel

　　Experience with multiple accounting and financial reporting systems

　　Prior experience with finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

　　10+ years of accounting and finance experience
