About Security Consumer Support Specialist

  About the unit

  This unit of security is customer base focus and serves to represent the mission and values of Corewell Health. This unit’s primary specialty is to help our patients navigate through our self-service kiosk, provide safety and security in a friendly manner and to assist our patients with navigating throughout our hospital.

  About Lakeland Hospitals

  The health system comprises three hospitals, an outpatient surgery center, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations. We p rovide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout S outhwest Michigan .

  Scope of work

  Provides high level customer service in a dual role with Security and Registration as floor coordinators/Welcome attendants. Assist locations with modernized registration support while providing security support when needed.

  Qualifications

  Required High School Diploma or equivalent.

  Preferred Associate's Degree or equivalent Public Administration, Business, or Criminal Justice

  Preferred Vocational/Technical One year certificate from college or technical school

  2 years of relevant experience customer service, law enforcement or military, or any other related experience Required

  At least 21 years of age with valid Michigan driver license Required

  LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

  CRT-First Aid - AHA American Heart Association 180 Days required

  CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 180 Days required Or

  CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 180 Days preferred
