Dr. Khadijah A. Mitchell's laboratory in the Cancer Prevention and Control Program at Fox Chase Cancer Center is seeking a driven and curious Scientific Technician I to join our growing team. The Mitchell laboratory investigates population differences in tumor biology to better understand how biological, behavioral, and environmental factors drive cancer health disparities. Through basic and translational studies, we explore the mechanisms of lung cancer initiation and progression after cigarette smoking and radon gas exposure using integrative multi-omic approaches (genomic, epigenomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and exposomic) to advance precision prevention and precision medicine.
