The Scheduling Manager is responsible for maximizing the efficiency of the Fab through optimization of the lot scheduling and staging systems. This role is also responsible for supervising and developing a team of Operations Improvement Engineers.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Safety and Quality:
Completes all required safety training and ensures all work is conducted in accordance with Micron safety policies
Performs safety audits and good catches and mentors team members on safety programs and initiatives
Improves safety behaviors and processes for their work environment through analyzing and sharing safety data
Drives a safety culture by requiring safe behaviors and sets the example for safety
Drives quality improvement initiatives in the area
Area Performance:
Coordinates the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of the Fab scheduling systems
Ensures scheduling and reporting tasks are addressed with the right priorities to meet site milestones
Partners with AMHS hardware and software groups to optimize system performance
Partners with area managers and other section managers to meet the needs of the Fab and build strong peer relationships
Drives a culture of project management in the department
Provides project resources and removes barriers
Manages projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required timeframe
Communication and Collaboration:
Coordinates with stakeholders that are impacted by changes or new initiatives
Partners with global OI network to identify and leverage best-known methods
Communicates customer expectations to the organization
Team Development and Performance Management:
Conducts performance management and professional development of direct reports through clear expectations and accountability
Develops challenging performance targets and communicating line of sight goals to individual contributors
Knows Micron policies and partners closely with HR
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Business-related field and 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or
Master's degree in Engineering or a Business-related and 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing
