Eaton’s Information Technology division is seeking a Salesforce Field Services Business Analyst to join our team. This position will be based in Raleigh, NC; Beachwood, OH; Moon TWP, PA; Menomonee Falls, WI, Houston, TX or Galesburg, MI.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105,000 - $154,000 a year.

The Salesforce Field Service Business Analyst will evaluate, design and implement Salesforce solutions based on business processes and desired capabilities. The Analyst will work closely with Business Process Owners, Developers and Salesforce End users. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT function, leveraging expertise in business analysis to recommend and implement solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. The Business Analyst with expertise in business analysis tools and techniques and extensive experience in enterprise-wide process and technology transformations and implementation. The ideal candidate has experience with Salesforce Field Services product increments and Salesforce Field Service deployment projects following global processes and standards. It is ideal to have experience with master data management programs, data hubs, or ERP implementations. The candidate will provide thought-leadership in driving project objectives forward. You are responsible for business analysis planning and monitoring; requirements elicitation; requirements management and communication; enterprise analysis; requirements analysis and solution assessment and validation on large projects in alignment with the Eaton PROLaunch project management process standards and agile principles.
What you’ll do:
Essential Responsibilities:
• The BA is self-managed and has the ability to estimate project work, define business requirements planning & approach, stakeholder assessment, plan, facilitate requirements elicitation workshops/interviews, perform analysis of requirements, manage traceability of requirements through design, development and validation, able to prepare and lead UAT plan, scripts and testing. Participates in implementation/enhancement projects for Salesforce Field Services using agile methodologies, playing a key role in the entire project lifecycle from requirements to go-live.
• Business Analysis Planning: Plan the business analysis approach for projects, determine the deliverables, estimate business analysis effort, and determine metrics to be used to monitor the success of analysis work. Supports Project Managers /Scrum Masters with identifying risks, issues and overall status updates.
• Requirements Elicitation: Conduct requirements gathering activities (brainstorming, focus groups, interviews, observation, prototyping, workshops), document the results, and validate that the documented requirements meet the stakeholders’ needs. Functionally owns certain parts of the backlog, documents and updates user stories and process flows on a timely manner.
• Requirements Management & Communication: Assess requirements to ensure they fall within the solution scope, ensure requirements are aligned with and traceable to business objectives and solution design, and ensure requirements are communicated and presented in a format that are understandable to stakeholders, including solutions designers and developers. Prepares and provides demos as required to business process owners and other key stakeholders. Interact with senior level leaders at divisional or regional level to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language)
• Enterprise Analysis: Evaluate the business need, problem or opportunity to justify the investment necessary to deliver the solution, assess the capability of the enterprise to leverage in developing a solution, and determine the most feasible solution. Provides knowledge, guidance and industry best practices towards solution design on the Salesforce platform.
• Requirements Analysis: Analyze, prioritize and organize requirements to ensure efforts focus on the most critical needs, model requirements to demonstrate process and or solution function, and validate that the requirements support the delivery of value. Provides inputs to the set-up and governance of consolidated, worldwide target processes. Creates reports and dashboards and actively contributes to setting up KPIs and metrics.
• Solution Assessment: Review and evaluate IT solution designs to ensure the proposed solution meets the business requirements. Works with architects and developers to transform requirements into Salesforce features. Collaborates with other IT teams across Eaton including ERP, Security, BI, Master Data Management, etc. Creates E2E process flows including all impacted systems in collaboration with experts from other IT systems.
• Validation: Coordinate the approach and development of use cases and test scenarios with the customer to ensure integration and/or user acceptance testing is complete and validates that project requirements have been achieved.
• Participates in unit testing and system integration testing to validate development meets business requirements. Prepares for user acceptance testing by writing test scripts and organizing test data for end users. Leads user acceptance testing events including managing bugs and enhancements resulting from the testing.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of IT, product owner OR project management work experience required
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Salesforce certification
• Experience with any ERP or CRM systems

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. This position will often work with other business analysts, developers, architects, project managers and business teams on a regular basis.
• Good team-oriented interpersonal skills. Assists with facilitation sessions, may require some coaching on how to lead and influence others, and to effectively interface and work with a wide variety of people.
• Good team player, self-motivated and committed with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
