ID Technologies has a distinctive product, services and integration practice selling Enterprise IT Solutions to Worldwide Public Sector markets. IDT holds significant IT Prime contracts within the US government market including, NASA SEWP, ITES 3H, ITES SW2, GSA Schedule, CIO-CS and has access to various other IT contract vehicles utilized by US DOD Agencies. These contracts are leveraged by our sales staff to pursue DOD opportunities.
CACI is seeking a Ruckus Technical Relationship Manager to join our Team. The TRM will function as the primary liaison between Ruckus and ID technical and sales personnel. Deal registrations, initial configurations and design work are common tasks. The TRM will also interface directly with end customers and CACI architects, engineers, etc. Provision of technical data, positioning and design work for CACI programs will be an essential job function with presentations and communication material being targeted at all levels of consumers (Customer and CACI executives, engineers, proposal reviewers, technical admins, etc.).
TRM duties include training, provision of roadmaps, sales enablement and Ruckus/CommScope advocacy. CACI sells significant Corning infrastructure product and the TRM will be tasked with educating CACI programs and associated Govt customers on CommScope infrastructure products.
The TRM will also interface with Dell to support Dell OEM sales of Ruckus. This will include positioning of Dell/Ruckus solutions through ID Tec and Dell personnel. Development of customized solutions including several Dell technologies and Ruckus will be a major focus area. This will require TRM assistance with technical POCs and development of technical sales material.
Pursuit of key Ruckus and other wireless certifications will be required so ID Tec can maintain our current Ruckus partner level.
About the Role:
This is a complex role that requires a strong mix of technical and product development skills.Communication is critical.Convincing ID Tec sales makers, CACI personnel and end-customers to consider and buy Ruckus without alienating these diverse groups if competing technologies are selected/desired is essential.
The TRM will have multiple “customers” involved in every opportunity and those customer will have competing requirements/goals.Navigating this environment while also providing the customer with superior solutions is challenging.
The end-customer set is also extremely diverse, covering DOD, Civilian and Intelligence agencies.The TRM will have the opportunity to work intimately with customers from each major area.Ultimately, listening and understanding the end-customer requirements will be the key to success.Recognizing when Ruckus is the best fit and tenaciously pursing those opportunities while also having the maturity to let go of opportunities that are a poor fit is essential.
You will write the technical volumes in RFP responses.You will present solutions to customers verbally, using white board and via tools like PowerPoint and Teams.
You will frequently travel to customer sites that may be located CONUS and occasionally OCONUS.
The TRM cultivates relationships across Ruckus, account managers and peer engineers.
Occasionally, the TRM may be required to build and/or coordinate building of POCs.
Assisting customers access and/or learn about OEM specific resources around support and deployment services will also be a key function.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience in wireless technologies including WLAN/5G, Zero Trust, etc.
Current technical certifications and/or the ability to acquire technical certifications specifically for Ruckus.
Previous military experience or a functional understanding of DOD operations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent listening and questioning skills.
Detailed and organized.
The ability to juggle multiple, complex tasks with interdependencies is essential.
They will will frequently help resolve channel issues including teaming, supply chain, etc. that require negotiation and conflict management skills.
The ideal candidate will have a deep level of technical competency in datacenter technologies, Ruckus technology and personnel and wireless technology.
Communication skills with writing and speaking acumen is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous military experience or a functional understanding of DOD requirements.
Experience with scripting and/or API integration.
Understanding of OEM support processes.
Experience working for Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Dell or Ruckus.
