JOB REQUIREMENTS: Assist in providing client services in a wide varietyof fields, such as psychology, rehabilitation, or social work, includingsupport for families. May assist clients in identifying and obtainingavailable benefits and social and community services. May assist socialworkers with developing, organizing, and conducting programs to preventand resolve problems relevant to substance abuse, human relationships,rehabilitation, or dependent care. Meet with youth groups to acquaintthem with consequences of delinquent acts. Observe and discuss mealpreparation and suggest alternate methods of food preparation. Observeclients\' food selections and recommend alternate economical andnutritional food choices. Oversee day-to-day group activities ofresidents in institution. Provide information or refer individuals topublic or private agencies or community services for assistance. Submitreports and review reports or problems with superior. Transport andaccompany clients to shopping areas or to appointments, usingautomobile. Visit individuals in homes or attend group meetings toprovide information on agency services, requirements, or procedures.Consult with supervisor concerning programs for individual families.***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Experience workingwith youth at risk or their families 2. Ability to effectivelycommunicate, both written and verbally, in the English language 3. Musthave reliable transportation and valid driver\'s license with gooddriving record 4. Must carry own auto insurance with at least100,000/300,000/100,000 coverage 5. Ability to maintain records anddocument case notes daily 6. Ability to give and accept feedback as apart of a team 7. Ability to traverse within the workspace and communityfrequently 8. Ability to ascend/descend stairs 9. Ability to transportat least 25 pounds 10. Be willing to learn and work with the treatmentphilosophies 11.
