Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for a System Engineer for one of our large defense clients that will sit onsite 1 day a week in Warren, MI. This person will be responsible for the management and derivation of technical requirements for a vehicle platform. They will work with stakeholders to ensure program requirements are properly derived from higher level sources and are being tracked to ensure fulfillment of the requirements through the course of development of combat vehicle systems. They will also work within a team environment to direct and contribute to vehicle system integration and development efforts. Outside of requirements, they will also be responsbile for the coordination and management of program risks and mitigation plans. Other responsibilities include:

　　Reviewing Engineering Change Proposals for design intent

　　Directly interface with customers on a daily basis

　　Work with formal DoD requirements documents

　　Up to 5% travel to other customer sites outside of the Warren, MI base

　　Skills and Requirements

　　4+ years of experience with the development of System Requirements and System Architecture

　　Experience with requirements definition, derivation, and tracing for systems and subsystems

　　Experience with DOORS and MBSE

　　Comfortable assisting with risk management

　　Strong communication and ability to work cross functionally with government customers

　　Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field

　　Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance - Previous DoD experience

　　Active Secret Clearance

　　Experience with RiskProject Recon

　　Experience performing Functional Decomposition and Capability Development methods to develop new architecture

　　Familiarity with DoD Risk Management or acquisition processes null
