Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Conducts patient education as necessary. Administers contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.

Required SkillsRad Tech I:Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hireARRT (R) or equivalent certification; or if a new graduate, registry eligible and must sit for registry within 90 days of graduation. If fails examination, must sit again within 90 days from date of last test.
Rad Tech II:BLS within 30 days from date of hireARRT(R) or equivalent certification, plus demonstrated competencies in another modality such as CT.Drag Edit Delete
Required SkillsAbility to accept on-call assignments for regularly scheduled shifts when acuity and/or census indicates need. Will be available to report to facility within 60 minutes of notification. This status will be determined by Department Director of Administrator on call.
