The QC Analyst mainly performs control material, bead release and LSP testing but also other tests in order to release material for production. The results from performed tests are compiled and transferred to documents and programs such as the SPT database. To be successful in this role it is important to have a genuine interest in laboratory work and to work with a strong quality focus.
The person holding this role has good communication skills, preferably experience from real time PCR and has some previous experience from working with SOPs.
This position is part of the QC-WIP (Work In Progress) and will be located in Solna. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform release testing on products that will be used on ROBAL
Initiate/report/investigate/finalize LFIs
Actively contribute to achievements of goals at the department
Perform TMV, other validation testing and non-routine testing
Use DBS tools
Be involved in Kaizens
Support new hired Analysts with upcoming questions concerning the lab work
The essential requirements of the job include:
Have at least an ongoing bachelor's or master's degree within life science
Previous experience of working in QC
Have experience with GMP
Have experience in working in a lab
