　　Siemens a global powerhouse is in need of a Purchasing Expeditor to join their Grand Prairie, TX plant. This individual will ensure prompt delivery of materials and services by communicating with vendors on the status of critical orders and eliminating difficulties and delays.

　　You will make an impact by:

　　· Maintains records of goods that have been ordered and corresponding shipping dates.

　　· Confirms shipping dates with vendors.

　　· Monitors shipping notices to avoid potential problems with deliveries.

　　· Reports major shipping problems to buyer.

　　· Assigns tracers to shipments to identify delays once order is in transit.

　　· Assist in resolving goods receipts transaction discrepancies.

　　· Maintains business relationships with suppliers to ensure their assistance if an unexpected event requires expedited shipping of an order.

　　· Performs other related duties as assigned.

　　You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　· Bachelor’s Degree is strongly desired, although a combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement) and directly related work experience will also be considered.

　　· 1-3 years Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment

　　Will also consider a recent college gradPreferred Qualifications:

　　· SAP experience

　　• The pay range for this position is $58,310 - $99,960. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
