Description Robert Half is currently working with a client looking for a Purchasing Agent. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for collaborating and negotiating with suppliers to purchase goods and services for the company. As the Purchasing Agent you will be locating suppliers, researching goods, services and materials and processing purchasing orders. Are you are a highly analytical and deadline oriented professional? Then this is the Purchasing Agent position for you!

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Research and compare goods, suppliers, and services

　　Data entry duties for daily purchase orders

　　Aid in any additional duties of the purchasing department

　　Provides exemplary customer service when working with vendors and suppliers

　　Review that received orders are complete with all information

　　Ensure all departments have appropriate inventory levels Requirements

　　Excellent communication and negotiation skills

　　Prior experience as a purchasing agent or in a similar position

　　Proficiency in CRM, ERP, and inventory management software programs

　　Excellent research and analytical skills

　　Strong documentation and organization skills

　　Degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field preferred
