　　BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Project Manager for exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation ICBM weapon system, known as the Sentinel ICBM Program.

　　The Sentinel Program (formerly GBSD) is an enormous and complex "Mega-Project" modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. Without a doubt, Sentinel is one of the Department of Defense's (DoD's) most important acquisition efforts for the next decade, if not longer. It includes a complete refurbishment or replacement of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly-designed, technologically-advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command & control system (including an updated airborne launch capability) as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead. It is a long-term project with the weapon system anticipated to deploy over a nine-year period beginning in 2026 and remaining operational until at least 2075. Sentinel is a career-defining program that will present unique and challenging opportunities that are simply not available with smaller DoD projects.

　　This position will directly support the Sentinel Program's Command & Launch (C&L) Division as they acquire the weapon system command & control capabilities for the next generation ICBM. Duties will include providing expert advice and support to Sentinel program leaders on all command & control aspects throughout the acquisition cycle. Areas of responsibility that fall under the C&L Team include: Weapon system command & control (e.g., launch console hardware and command data processing, etc.)ICBM codes/cryptography (i.e., securing the nuclear launch codes and assuring confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of commands)ICBM targeting (i.e., system processing of strategic aim points) Nuclear command, control & communications (NC3) systems (i.e., national communications systems used for receiving Presidential nuclear orders)ICBM command pathways (i.e., hardline & RF networks for voice & data command transmission and reception)Airborne launch control capabilities (i.e., secondary launch capability on board a US Navy E-6B aircraft)Actuation & mechanical systems (e.g., missile suspension system, launcher closure door system, ballistic gas generators, missile umbilical retractors, etc.)Power distribution & endurance systems (e.g., backup generators, emergency batteries, HVAC systems, etc.)Physical security systems (e.g., motion sensors, visual sensors, delay features, etc.)Specifically, this C&L team member will be responsible for supporting the government customer in the review, and assessment of the Sentinel prime contractor's designs, documentation, architectures, and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products related to weapon system command & control concepts and processes. Our team provides expertise on weapon system and lab architectures; concepts of operation; modeling, simulation and analysis (MS&A); and plans for addressing command & control integration options. This team member will support the C&L Team with program status tracking, meeting support, cost control monitoring, and integrated master schedule (IMS) management. The position interacts with government customer staff and senior leaders in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Headquarter Air Force, Air Force Global Strike Command, the National Security Agency, U.S. Strategic Command, as well as other Sentinel team partners from Federally-Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) and University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs). This team member will also coordinate and integrate actions with other program managers, engineers, logisticians, testers, and external agencies.

　　Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status.

　　This position is only located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Due to the special-access classified working environment, the majority of work is performed on-site with somewhat limited opportunities for telework (less than 15% of weekly hours).

　　Required Education, Experience, & Skills

　　7 years of progressive technical experience (5 years with an MS degree)

　　Must have a current (within last 6 years) Secret security clearance or higher and be able to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable timeframe.

　　Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Earned Value and/or cost account manager (CAM) experience is a plus.

　　Familiarity with, or willingness to rapidly learn, schedule management programs such as Primavera or Microsoft Project is desired.

　　Proficiency using office software such as Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is highly desirable.

　　DoD acquisitions program experience is desirable.

　　Experience with any aspect of ICBM weapon systems is desirable.

　　Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communications skills in addition to sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with customer and company personnel.

　　Pay Information

　　Full-Time Salary Range: $100530 - $170910

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
