  What we need

  The Project Manager/Scrum Master Intern will be working and learning to effectively manage multiple cross functional teams that are responsible for supporting complex projects/products and programs along with key stakeholders to drive business results. They will support all phases of the project/product lifecycle using Agile practices. This intern role will be responsible for assisting in concurrently managing multiple projects/products with multiple teams across multiple business areas in a matrixed reporting structure.

  Your Day to Day

  Facilitate and provide technical management for daily standup meetings to ensure the team is on track with their goals and objectives for the sprint.

  Assists with sprint planning, retrospectives, task estimation and release planning to make certain all team members are actively working toward established milestones.

  Monitor progress of project tasks and provide guidance and support to team members.

  Implement agile best practices and ensure the teams follow scrum methodology.

  Track project deliverables utilizing software collaboration tools such as Jira.

  We’re Looking for:

  Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes and systems along with working with multiple stakeholders, portfolio and scrum teams including external vendors

  Excellent time management, organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail

  Desire and enthusiasm to learn and lead IT portfolio management projects and scrum ceremonies including agile processes using Jira and Confluence management

  What You Bring

  Positive progress toward Undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is required

  Experience or willing to learn Agile and Scrum Methodologies

  Interest in Health Insurance or managed care industry

  Minimum Education Requirements:

  High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

  This job is also eligible for variable pay.
