Description:
Northside Hospital is in need of a Sr Project Manager. This PM will be working on large projects in their Security groups and could have some combination in Infrastructure as well. The projects will vary which is why they need a well rounded PM that has supported projects across Security and Infrastructure, with a focus of security. A few examples of Security projects are:
1) Security Program Reviews/Audits across many Affiliates
a. Internal discovery of affiliates security cyber tech stack and migration to enterprise NSH cyber toolset
2) VPN
a. Initiative to increase user experience security, windows and Symantec updates
3) DLP Endpoint rollout to the enterprise
4) Email Fraud Enhancement Project
a. Increase email protection implementation of software to prevent external domain emails to end users outlook ribbon
5) Decommission of Symantec product web proxies
The Infra projects could be around- hardware, deployments, implementations, migrations, etc, etc- but understands the technology enough on that side to be able to effectively run the projects.
Project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, communicating project status, and delivering every projects on time, within budget and scope. Successful candidates will be excellent communicators, comfortable managing multiple tasks, team players, and have problem-solving aptitude.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

• Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector. Healthcare IT experience is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
