As our Project Engineer, you will: Project Engineer and manage customer’s projects Design Citrus equipment and process systems for customer order Design and work on layout of equipment and systems for sales proposals Participate in the planning and scheduling process for projects in which involved. You will report directly to the Project Engineering Manager. On a given day, you might find yourself working on: Effectively communicating project scope and requirements to various departments, including engineering, manufacturing, and installation contractors. Preparing layouts of required equipment and provide Bills of Material (BOM) for cost estimating. Proactively contacting vendors for equipment pricing, sizing, specifications, or technical information Updating JBT standard drawings to align with approved change requests in the Design Change Request (DCR) process. Supporting sales by assisting with equipment and process specification. Qualifications The Challenge To thrive, you should: Ensure timely delivery of drawings to the manufacturing team. Clearly convey project scope and limitations to customers and provide necessary supervision and guidance to designers and contractors. Understand and address customer needs, sizing and specifying necessary equipment accordingly. Complete drawing changes in a timely manner, prioritizing based on availability. Proficient in latest computer aided design Be Creative, organized, collaborative, problem solving, perceptive, personal accountability Bi-lingual in English & Spanish or Portuguese Valid Passport Location, Travel and Work Schedule Location: 400 Fairway Ave, Lakeland FL 33801 Work Schedule: This position is onsite with the possibility of a hybrid model of 1-2 days remote, Mon-Fri 8-5 pm EST. Travel 15% of the time (international).
