　　The Regional Solutions and Services (RSS) Business Unit of Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Project Director to support a major Decarbonization Program deployment for a Global customer

　　The Project Director will be a partner to Program Manager in executing the Program across multiple sites globally. The Project Director, with the commercial Project Director will be responsible to deliver the program on time, on budget, at the right quality to the customer satisfaction. This position will report to the Global EPS Head of Operations

　　Location: Role can be based in our Zug HQ – Switzerland ( preferred location ), Austria or Germany

　　Role

　　Your missions cover the fulfillment of the Contractual and budgetary obligations of the Project, as well as the overall Customer Satisfaction

　　You will work in conjunction with the Regional Operations Director, will be responsible for the Project organization, accountabilities breakdown and Project Governance with direct entities and supporting functions

　　You will supervise and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables in accordance with Umbrella agreement and defined Playbook across the regions that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and other stakeholders

　　You will coach, mentor, empower, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work

　　You will support with identifying and resolving issues/conflicts within the project team

　　You will drive all functional departments in a matrix organization

　　You will be responsible for ensuring harmonized reporting to the customer, tool based management of the project for Scheduling, Engineering change management, etc

　　You will be responsible for contract & claims management through consistent Project Logs and Events tracking processes

　　You will drive opportunities and business upsides across the regional scopes with clear objective to preserve and improve the Project Margin

　　You will proactively lead changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans from a cost perspective

　　You will interface with external customer on program progress and any contract or finance issues

　　You will support PM with the development and delivery of monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal/external customers

　　Required amount of travel: Between 30% - 40%, mainly within Europe, depending on stage and status of projects

　　Your Profile

　　Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering

　　15 years plus of proven experience in large EPC and/or Energy project management

　　Understanding of the HVAC design environment – with specific knowledge on Chillers, Heat Pumps, Piping Erection, etc, is very critical for this role

　　Strong financial (i.e Project Controlling), leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills

　　Project Management Professional (PMP), (IPMA) and/or Internal Siemens PM / PD certifications a big Plus

　　Working in cross-border / International Projects experience a must

　　Demonstrated history of increasing responsibility and ability to lead and inspire

　　Results driven; customer focused; ability to interact effectively within cross-functional teams; collaborative style

　　Profound understanding of internal business processes in Sales and Project execution

　　Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken

　　German would be beneficial
