Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Support Coordinator-Clinical Trials Education within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. The Program Support Coordinator for Clinical Trials Education is responsible for assisting the education team in planning, coordinating, and delivering onboarding, orientation, education, and training programs for clinical trial staff at the Office of Human Research Services (OHRS) and RWJ Barnabas HealthCare System. This position will also assist the education team in educating clinical trial staff and providers on topics as assigned. This position aims to provide effective and interactive training programs and materials that support employee development and ensure that all clinical research conducted within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey adheres to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and applicable Institutional, State, and Federal regulations and guidelines.
  • Manages and updates the OHRS, CRN, and CRC Listserv.
  • Manages the departmental email, answering emails in a timely manner and directing emails to others as applicable.
  • Assist in the collection and display of monthly departmental metrics for leadership.
  • Performs duties independently under the general guidance of the Associate Director of Clinical Trials Administration.
  • Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Understands, demonstrates and models the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey core values.
  • Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers's compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Interest policy.
  • Acts as role model for corporate integrity, customer service and improved quality.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

  

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree plus three (3) years of professional experience with planning, coordinating, evaluating, and/or managing projects/programs.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience developing strong action plans and researching and interpreting data required.
  • Minimum one (1) of the three (3) years' experience including clinical research experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) of the three (3) years' experience including educating and onboarding staff.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Effective oral and communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
