Job Description
Position Summary: Addiction Recovery Professional to provide overall management of OASAS 822 clinic so as to provide Recovery Oriented Services.
Essential Accountabilities:
Administration
Participate in hiring process with new staff including reviewing resumes, setting up and conducting interviews
Participate in staff orientation
Complete timely and accurate completion of required reports needed by OASAS, LGU. SAMSHA and agency
Supervise staff regarding everyday operations of clinic
Complete payroll as directed by payroll department
Conduct and coordinate weekly staff meetings
Perform yearly evaluations for clinical staff as well as disciplinary actions
Perform clinical utilization reviews monthly as well as reviewing UR department’s results
Manage and implement clinic programming.
Oversees clinic staff schedule to assure coverage for programming
Participate in incident review committee and quality improvement; assuring guidelines are being met by state, county and federal governments
Participate in agency audits of governing bodies and insurance companies
Participate in quality improvement meetings and implementation of measurement standards for optimal results
Maintain quality and standards per OASAS regulations
Operational
Review referrals to determine appropriateness.
Oversees admission and discharge process for appropriateness and accuracy of OASAS PAS forms
Evaluates patients treatment and success of programming as it relates to patients goals and objectives
Responsible for assuring staff training and education
Coordinate with support staff regarding general clerical duties
Other Responsibilities
Provide direct care services as needed
Participate in agency trainings and those mandated by OASAS
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC with three years experience within an OASAS program.
