External Description
We are currently seeking a full time Program Aide to join our intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division working at the Adult Training Facility in Hummelstown, PA.The duties of a Program Aide involve direct care and program assistance in assigned area. Direction is provided by the Program Instructor. Work is supervised by the Program Director.Assist the participants with skills of daily living such as toileting, eating and other personal hygiene.Direction is provided by the program instructor in designated areas.Program Aide acts as the lead in the absence of the program instructor.Document participants daily attendance. Implements goal plans and provides guidance in social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.Assist participants on skill building out in the community/Drive company vehicles.Keep storage areas and work areas clean and properly arranged.Assist with documentation responsibilities as requested.Perform special assignments as directed and related work as required.Merakey strictly follows a zero-tolerance policy for abuse.
