We are looking for entrepreneurial spirits to join our Monetization Strategy team. You will have a ground floor opportunity to shape monetization efforts for TikTok. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future.
The Monetization Strategy & Operations organization provides business-critical insights using analysis and financial modeling, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
Creativity is the soul of advertising. This role would be focused on our strategy for ad creative products - collaborating with the TikTok Ads Creative & Ecosystem team to develop world-leading tech solutions for ads creative inspiration, production/editing, interpretation, and optimization. Our goal is to empower and inspire advertisers, creators, and others in the ecosystem to create and deliver the best engaging creative experiences to the end users.
Responsibilities:
- Monetization product analysis and research: Identify new product directions and growth strategies through external research and internal analysis. Produce product and R&D suggestions to shape the product roadmap, define success indicators, and estimate business value for new product initiatives.
- User product research: Deeply understand and articulate the target user, user journey, and pain points through research, interviews, and surveys to drive strong product-market fit.
- Market research and competitor product benchmarking: Conduct global/regional market sizing, market landscape analysis, and competitor product benchmarking to inform strategic product decisions.
- Project management and strategic planning: Coordinate the cooperation between PM, DS, and other teams by ensuring information exchange and priority alignment. Drive cross-functional projects and ensure the landing of high-priority projects with senior leadership.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above. 3-5 years of working experience at leading tech companies, consulting, or investment banking firms; experience in digital advertising is a plus.
- Strong data analysis skills, able to use Excel and other data analysis and visualization tools.
- Excellent communication skills, can effectively handle cross-functional collaboration; highly responsible, independent, and resilient.
- Rich experience in cross-team project cooperation and communication, and able to work with multi-national teams.
- Fast learner, highly self-driven with curiosity and structured thinking.

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $124800 - $220400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
