Our PPD team has a new opening for a Product Management Head, reporting into the Technology Leader and serving as a key stakeholder for the product management team.

In this position, you will have the autonomy to establish best practices and processes for product management that are tailored specifically to the clinical trial industry. Your leadership will inspire the team to continuously innovate and improve, addressing the unique challenges and opportunities in this space. By driving continuous delivery, you will ensure that the team is always at the forefront of the latest technologies and market demands, enabling the delivery of differentiating and innovative solutions that meet the highest standards in the clinical research space.
The Product Management Head plays a pivotal role in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and aligning them with overall business objectives and market demands. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and internal stakeholders, to ensure seamless coordination and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
The role will be expected to conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. This information is then utilized to make informed decisions regarding product development, value positioning, operational improvements and go-to-market strategies. Additionally, the Product Management Head acts as a primary liaison between the product team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals. He/she will provide guidance and mentorship to the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
In expanding the team, the Product Management Head will develop and execute a robust recruitment strategy to attract top engineering talent (in partnership with Talent acquisition recruiters) and lead the hiring process, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions to expand the engineering team.

A deep commitment to understanding the needs of the customer and developing products that address those needs. He/she understands the importance of collaboration and fosters a culture of teamwork and communication across all departments and will be decisive and able to make tough decisions, even in the face of uncertainty.
This is a remote position in Europe.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification (Masters’ degree or MBA preferred)
Previous software engineering experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 12+ years’ experience)
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing high-performing teams globally.
User Experience design/leadership
Extensive experience in product management, with a track record of successfully developing and launching innovative products.
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and drive collaboration and accountability.
Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and drive market success.
Proficiency in using data and analytics to make informed decisions, prioritize features, and measure product success.
Proven ability to collaborate with operational teams to gather requirements, define workflows, and deliver products that streamline operations, increase efficiency, and enhance productivity.
Ability to prioritize features, set release schedules, and make data-driven decisions to maximize product value and success.
Strong technical background with a clear understand of the underlying technologies, development processes, and industry standards to effectively communicate with engineering teams, assess feasibility, and make informed decisions.
Management Role:
Directs through lower management levels. Has responsibility for managing a function that includes multiple related departments. In some instances, may be responsible for a functional area (as determined by executive management) and not have subordinate supervisors or employees.
