Job Description
This position assists in the overall optimization of plastic processing and supports basic manufacturing operator functions at all levels of the process. Team members are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment and support all initiatives of operations and quality systems to ensure customer quality and delivery requirements are met.

3:00pm - 11:15pm
Duties
Demonstrate understanding of all set-up procedures and all molding machine functions
Set-up, start and troubleshoot presses using established process control methods
Set-up and troubleshoot secondary equipment
Monitor press cycle to ensure that presses are running to standard
Initiate corrective action for jobs running out of standard cycle
Demonstrate ability to set limit switches, timers, and process controls on presses.
Change end of arm tooling and load robot program into robot. Demonstrate ability to do basic troubleshooting on end of arm tooling.
Demonstrate understanding of the fundamentals of RJG technology via e-dart cavity pressure monitoring and control.
Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary
Interacts and works with Production and Engineering Technicians to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
Document processing changes, adjustments, problems, or other action taken and notify quality department for any possible dimensioning re-verification and visual criteria needed due to process changes.
Accurately fills out maintenance work requests for equipment.
Follow all safety, environmental and quality policies, and procedures.
Operate overhead hoist/crane
Promote 6S standards
Performs other duties as assigned to support company values and objectives.
Qualifications
3-5 years recent experience with processing on injection molding machines
Experiencing with sampling a plus
Completion of an accredited injection molding certification program a plus
Previous clean room experience within an ISO certified manufacturing facility
Demonstrated leadership and training capabilities
