About Principal Program Manager, Retail Strategy

  Description

  The Principal Program Manager for NAS Negotiations exhibits thought leadership among the NA Stores vendor management community, alongside strong deep dive capabilities. The PM shows high levels of organization and precision, and flexes a strong backbone in the face of competing priorities from stakeholders and business partners alike. They lead daily operations of NA Stores Negotiations Programs by plugging into all negotiations goal-setting, operations, and tooling work-streams, manages preparation for launches, and act as a key contributor for all negotiation training materials and delivery. The PM acts as a central guide and contact point for Vendor Managers as they navigate negotiation cycles, as well as deploys and manages multiple online and in-person help mechanisms throughout the year. They also foster strong relationships with NA Stores leadership and guide communication of negotiations results, specifically through document preparation and presentation.

  Seattle, WA, USA

  Basic Qualifications

  7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  7+ years of program or project management experience

  7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  7+ years of working cross functionally across several teams experience

  Bachelor's degree

  Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  Experience defining and executing program requirements

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $111,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
