NOTE: This is a 100 % remote position Candidates will be working on EST HoursOne of our clients in Norfolk, Virginia is looking for a Principal Architect with Capitation/Value Based Care experience.Job Responsibilities* Responsible for overseeing in the establishment of an IT Application Architecture practice for Core Administrative Platform - Pricing and Payment, and the adoption of standardization and repeatable processes for Provider Payments, Capitation, and Value Based Payment methodologies.* Works closely with the Chief Strategist and Claim and Finance Architect to develop repeatable processes for configuration for new business.* Analyze and recommend configuration standards and changes for optimization of capitation calculation module for existing health plans.* Conceptualize and design custom components for capitation calculation gaps that will integrate and work seamlessly with QNXT.* Leads activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation for the applicable business area.* Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.* Communicates the application architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.* Champions a structured approach to business application solutions.* Supports the development of the application solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios.* Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.* Influences changes to standards and application configuration when necessary.* Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.* Develops and executes solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.Qualifications / Skills* Excellent oral and written communication* Analytical and problem-solving skills* High attention to detail regarding integration of capitation calculations* Fosters collaboration across IT and operations* Ability to work under indirect supervision.* Broad understanding of information technology topics* Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability.* Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills.* Ability to assess custom processes for optimization and redesign.* Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities* Technically creative and open-mindedEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience* Minimum of 10 - 12 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology solutions architecture role.* Minimum of 5 years of experience with QNXT or QNXT based application.* Managed Care Organization, Medicare and Medicaid, Commercial Health Plan operational knowledge and experience* Implementation of large-scale payment solutions preferred.* Demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs.Apply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjY0MzcwLjEwNTA4QGJlYWNvbmhpbGxjb21wLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ
