You will be engaged across all infrastructure platforms including cloud and traditional on-premise technologies. inclusive to leading a team of solution architects to create a secure, health care compliant multi-cloud strategy. Drive and deploy a multi-region cloud hosting strategy and execution plan for US, LATAM, EMEA, APAC and China.You will drive strategic technical direction for Data Centers, Storage, Edge Compute, technology partners. You will be responsible to ensure systems are well architected to ensure compliance, resiliency and ensure application and security partners requirements are delivered.As an IT Platform Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Implement and enable best-practice cloud architecture patterns.Lead a team of solution architects to deploy infrastructure solutions.Drive the development and deployment of a modern cloud based architecture.Develop opportunities to optimize costs and operations with key infrastructure teams and service providers by maintaining deep working relationships.Create standards for solution architects to deliver againstPartner closely with Application, ERP and Security Architects to deliver results for customers and business partners.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited universityAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Ten (10) years of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure experienceStrong experience with data center hosting technologies: VMWare VSphere and ESXi, Nutanix, and X86 compute.Knowledge of IT systems to include Operating Systems (Linux, Windows, AIX), Platforms, Database, Automation, Storage, and Data ProtectionExcellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills to create effective collaboration.Knowledge of platform architecture patterns, operations and cost models with experience implementing best practices or suggested improvements.Experience driving innovative technical approaches, aligning with business partners and delivering with a focused execution approach.Cloud migration experience.Cloud engineering expertise (AWS, Azure)Experience working with a managed service provider.5-7 years of team leadership3-5 years of infrastructure engineering experienceExperience leading IT organizational changeCloud certifications (AWS, Azure)Experience with vendor, contract, and financial managementFor current employees, internal transfer restrictions may not apply.
