Description

Our client is working with us to identify a Part Time Sr. Accountant in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, 55344, United States. This role is instrumental in managing multiple aspects of our accounting, human resources, including benefits, payroll, cash management, and month-end closing tasks. The post-holder will also play a vital role in labor cost billing and will collaborate closely with management to provide insights into financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of employee benefits, ensuring all procedures are accurate and completed in a timely manner.

• Administer payroll operations, maintaining a steady cash flow and adhering to all relevant regulations.

• Conduct monthly closing tasks, including the preparation of precise financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries as needed.

• Supervise labor cost billing processes, assuring accurate data entry and prompt invoicing.

• Operate within the organization's labor billing system, identifying potential areas for efficiency improvement and rectifying any technical issues.

• Collaborate with other teams to provide insights into financial performance and aid in decision-making.

• Assist in audit preparation and reporting tasks as per requirement.

• Keep abreast of regulatory changes that may influence financial and payroll operation

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

5+ years of professional experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role

Proficiency in accounting software systems, such as Sage and Paychex, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Pay Range for this position is based on a full time salary of 80,000-100,000. Benefits are not offered at 24 hours schedule.
