　　Title: OSP Construction Specialist

　　Location: Brunswick, GA

　　Duration: 12+ month On-Going Contract

　　Contract Type: W2

　　Pay Rate: Max rate of $35 per hour depending on experience

　　Top Skills Required:

　　1) 5+ years of experience with Outside Plant (OSP), Telecommunications, and/or Fiber project coordination

　　2) CATV industry experience preferred

　　3) Must have vehicle to get around job to job. Mileage will be reimbursed.

　　Job Description:

　　• Oversee, track, and report on the progress and quality of work being performed by our construction contractors

　　• Proactively engage with residents to address concerns during construction

　　• Report on project status in the field and proactively works to manage and escalate issues as needed

　　• Coordinate with clients and property managers to survey and manage construction for business installations

　　• Survey and manage construction for Multi-unit dwellings (MDUs)

　　• Coordinate/manage locate companies, DOT and power companies as needed to achieve objectives

　　• Attend contractor meetings and calls as necessary

　　• Implement new process and procedures as set forth by the construction department

　　Qualified candidates should also meet the following requirements:

　　• 5+ years in cable or other telecommunications underground fiber construction

　　• You must have strong knowledge of OSP design and construction methods

　　• Experience managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projects

　　• You must have strong knowledge of OSP design and construction methods

　　• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive attitude

　　• The candidate must be well-organized, proactive, resourceful, flexible, able to communicate with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform with a high level of professionalism

　　• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office programs

　　• Candidate must a valid driver’s license and a clean record

　　• Overtime may be required at times based on the volume of work

　　• 80% field / 20% office
