　　Contract-to-Hire Senior Accountant/Compliance Analyst needed for Dallas oil & gas company. 100% ONSITE in Dallas, TX.

　　Oil & Gas Compliance Analyst needed for immediate contract opportunity. Oil and Gas Compliance Analyst will be working in Regulatory Affairs for Dallas client.

　　Summary: The position will be responsible for supporting the preparation of various files and schedules for use in regulatory applications before the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) and other entities as needed. The position will aid in the review and analysis of historical financial and operational records with a special focus on asset related information.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　• Prepare schedules for use in rate reviews filed at the RRC and/or FERC

　　• Review, compare, and reconcile various types of asset related data between multiple sources.

　　• Interact with other team members regarding the above activities to ensure that study results are generally agreed to and supported

　　Experience with multiple sets of books (Tax, GAAP, and Regulatory)

　　Write-downs on one set of books but not a second set & permanent differences with control features for the same

　　Outside charges and invoicing

　　Corporate cost allocations

　　Revenue systems, especially Quorum

　　M& A activity and after the fact due diligence

　　Traffic Unit Studies for the transportation & logistics industry

　　Regulatory experience

　　Requirements

　　Bachelor’s degree in Accounting including 3-5 years of accounting/audit/financial reporting work experience

　　• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

　　• Strong work ethic with good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and proactively to identify and resolve issues

　　• Strong written and verbal communication skills

　　• MS Excel and Word proficient; SAP experience a plus

　　• Proven team player with ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships
