Job Description

　　A data center client for Insight Global is looking for a fresh Network Security Administrator to join their team in Tempe, AZ. The successful candidate will provide network administration and support of the large multi-tenant data center and network. The day will consist of responding quickly and effectively to network issues, outages, and change requests. This person will need to be a self-starter to be able to manage their own ticket que without micro management. This candidate will be utilizing network monitoring tools to proactively address capacity, performance, and availability issues before service degradation occurs. Performing regular system maintenance on network hardware/software will also be a big part of the day. Lastly, this candidate should be comfortable being client-facing when needed.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, IP sub netting, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and network management

　　Experience with point-to-point, VPN, and other WAN connectivity options

　　Understanding of switching, VLANs, VRF and related technologies

　　Experience with Cisco switches and routers, including Nexus, series switches and ASR routers

　　Understanding of network security, including firewalls and VPNs - B.S. degree in computer science or similar

　　Cisco CCNA / CCNP certification

　　Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and Checkpoint

　　Experience with Fortinet firewalls

　　Experience with F5 load balancers

　　Experience with Automation null
