About .NET Software Developer II-V

  Collaborates with other software developers, business systems analysts, and liaisons to translate user requirements and systems objectives of increasing complexity into a logical, efficient and optimal systems design. Develops and maintains new and existing applications by writing code based on the design to ensure that business rules, security standards and government regulations are met. Escalates issues to management for resolution. Assists in creating and executing required test plans on all new and changed components.

  Responsibilities

  Develops and maintains new and existing applications by analyzing, designing and writing code of increasing complexity that satisfies a logical, efficient and optimal systems design.

  Leads program-level and system-level testing, implementation, and break-fix tasks associated with business applications, including multiple platforms.

  Develops documentation of technical workflows and systems designs and verifies against user requirements.

  Works with database staff and security staff to ensure that data standards and security standards are properly applied.

  Learns new technical concepts and software languages as needed.

  Proficient understanding of how IT processes, procedures, and outputs fit in with the Business strategy (the big picture) preferred

  Organized and timely; Completes tasks in timely, high-quality manner (set/meet targets, limited rework); developing ability to increase performance of individuals within team preferred

  Efficiently and effectively solutions for well-formed business or technical problems preferred

  Provides senior team members with information needed to estimate project scope and time preferred.

  Contributes to the creation of detailed work plans for projects preferred.

  Able to document and articulate issues that arise during a project, and then present them to senior members of the team, business stakeholders, or management preferred.

  Continuously meets deliverable estimates and timelines preferred

  Problem-solver who documents and makes recommendations for solutions, considering future consequences and adverse impacts, with limited guidance of more experienced team members preferred

  Simplifies complex ideas and effectively explains to all audiences preferred

  Qualifications

  Education and Experience

  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, business or related field or equivalent experience.

  Minimum 2 years information systems experience.

  Technical Skills and Knowledge

  Understanding of application development using Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and similar tools.

  Experience working on Web API, and web applications using C# .NET/.Net Core

  Experience writing SSIS packages that handle a variety of sources and destinations including SQL Server, DB2 andMedical Mutual is looking to grow our team!
