Toyon is seeking an individual to perform aviation mission planning for a government customer. The analyst will:
Develop operational plans and supporting content (briefings, reports)Utilize custom software tools to aid in creating operational plansConduct technical analysis and feasibility studies regarding the execution of mission plansProvide other mission personnel with technical support regarding specialized software tools and planning processes used in plan development.Additional duties and responsibilities will include executing, and possibly designing, user testing of custom, mission-oriented software tools; working with software designers and developers to guide software updates and creation of new software applications; and authoring and clearly presenting briefings and analysis products or results to senior customer leadership and end-users.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have some or all the following experience and skills:
Significant work experience in the following areas: operational mission planning; mission operations and (tactical) execution (minimum 5 years)Working knowledge in the field of aviation, aerospace, nautical, and/or navigation applications - equipment, vehicles, tools / software, and/or analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompetent, working knowledge of mathematics to support planning and analysis effortsExperience and ability with any or all of the following software applications: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access or other database software, Microsoft PowerPoint, graphics editing tools, document publishing tools, geographical information systems (GIS)Minimum Bachelors degreeMilitary service experience is a plusWE OFFER AN EXCEPTIONAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PACKAGE!

The posted pay range values provide the candidate with guidance on annual base compensation for the position, at a full time level of effort, exclusive of overtime, bonus, and benefits-related compensation, over a range of qualifications that may fit hiring objectives.
