Description

We are on the lookout for a proficient Part-time Staff Accountant in Salem, New Hampshire. As a part of our team, you will be instrumental in managing the General Ledger system, handling bank reconciliations, and executing various finance-related tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the compilation, maintenance, and coordination of the General Ledger system and records.

• Ensure accurate posting of entries in the General Ledger.

• Generate daily finance-related reports to keep track of financial activities.

• Perform reconciliations of correspondent bank and general ledger accounts.

• Assist in processing wire transfers for the Finance department.

• Utilize your skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Month End Close to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Must have experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain and manage General Ledger.

• Experience in performing Month End Close procedures is essential.
