The Merchandising Strategy Associate is a core member of the Merchandising Strategy team responsible for providing critical analytical, administrative and operational project management support. for the elaboration of Brand Strategies that highly impact business results and will assist in cross-brands special projects. The Merchandising Strategy Associate is also responsible for fostering productive cross-functional relationships. The Merchandising Strategy Associate will provide support by providing accurate and timely reports, some of the reporting will be done weekly or monthly while other reports will be ad hoc when a business need arises.
Responsibilities:
Create, maintain and produce accurate merchandising standard reporting using Excel, Word and appropriate retail systemsDevelop new spreadsheet-based tools for merchandising as requested by the EVP of MerchandisingSuccessfully execute deliverables with a hands-on approach to tasks that facilitate the ability to effectively execute top prioritiesParticipate in monitoring KPI's to identify and implement performance based improvements that tie to the strategic initiativesAssist EVP in development of key merchandising strategic initiatives by providing new analysis and recaps to support the budgetsResearches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response and gets critical issues in front of the ExecutiveBe a master of execution and project management, holding the team accountable and ensuring that deadlines are met across high-priority, cross-functional projectsOwns execution of assigned business projects and provides support for a variety of initiatives across the enterprise, prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressuresOwn topline merchant recaps that help facilitate the accurate execution of merchandising strategiesQualifications:
Bachelor's degree2-4 years of experience in Merchandising/Business Administrative supportProactive approach - ability to anticipate future actions that may be requiredStrong time management skillsFlexibility to adapt to changing business needsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsHigh proficiency in Excel and PowerPointProficient in Microstrategy (Lighthouse) a plusStrong foundation in merchandising fundamentals (i.e. retail math)Ability to handle complex projects and problemsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal#LI-HYBRID

Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,750
