).DESCRIPTIONDecypher is seeking Medical Laboratory Technician candidates to provide support to the Joint Base Fort Lewis-McChord, Tacoma, WA.RESPONSIBILITIESPerform a full range of clinical laboratory tests in any one or a combination of the following sections of the laboratory: hematology, chemistry, cytology, histotechnology, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, phlebotomy or transfusion and blood bankHeavy Phlebotomy while assisting in the PSS lab during PCS seasonPrepare specimens for analysis and ensure that the physiologic state of the properties is maintainedCalibrate, standardize, adjust, and maintain instrumentsVerify correct instrument operation using established procedures and quality control checksEXPERIENCELaboratory Technician CertificationASCP Certification or AMT Certification6 months of experience rotation through all sections of a medical laboratoryMust be team oriented and willing to assist in other labs as neededBLS - Basic Life SupportNACI background checkMust either be a U.S. citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, either a non-citizen national of the United State, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States.Decypher is a leading integrator of professional, technology, and management solutions and services.
