This position in Gas Compression Project Engineering involves Mechanical Project Engineers who collaborate on capital and maintenance projects at natural gas compressor stations, providing mechanical engineering support, ensuring compliance with design standards, and coordinating various aspects of projects, all while focusing on safety, quality, and budget objectives. 　　responsibilities:

　　Provide Mechanical Engineering support for project development activities, including feasibility studies, conceptual engineering design, and cost estimating.

　　Develop and/or review engineering drawings and calculations for construction projects.

　　Oversee the development of detailed design documents by the Engineer of Record.

　　Develop Mechanical Engineering technical specifications and bid documents for detailed engineering, materials, and construction contracts.

　　Lead the technical bid evaluation for engineering, equipment, materials, and construction contracts.

　　Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure mechanical project aspects align with safety, scope, schedule, and budget objectives.

　　Skills:

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, and PowerPoint.

　　Experience with AutoCAD.

　　Knowledge of facility design, construction, and operation.

　　Familiarity with planning and permitting in relation to discipline-specific design and construction.

　　Experience in reviewing designs to ensure compliance with engineering design, codes, constructability, and industry standards.

　　Experience in procurement of engineered materials, equipment, and professional services.

　　Education and Experience:

　　Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

　　Minimum of 2 years of applied ABET engineering experience.
