GENERAL FUNCTIONS: Function as a Core Instructor in a classroom setting, providing instruction in skills necessary to master academic competencies. Provides engaging instruction, administers tests and evaluates progress in reading, writing, social studies, science and mathematics understanding and proficiency. Identify and use appropriate materials for the students being taught and the department goals established.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and certified to teach in the state in which center is located.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES: A State Teacher Certification is required in the state where the Job Corps Center is located. A valid Regular Driver License is required.
