Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
We're seeking a Masters Swim Team Coach to join our team! As our new Masters Swim Team Coach you will:
Coach adults in a recreational swimming league
Coach 2-4 hours weekly
Be the inspirational leader of the each swimming group to ensure the highest level of member engagement
Create practice plans
Be involved in an ongoing program and evaluation process to determine the relevancy of existing programs and the development of new offerings
Communicate with participants via email and phone call.
Lead marketing efforts to grow the program such as attending other programmatic events or visiting other programs within the building to share our Swim Programs
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning of member engagement events such as open water swim or any extra event associated with Swim Team
Working with the Assistant Aquatics Manager to assure appropriate coverage during all operating hours
Other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate will have:
American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification OR American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification AND CPR/AED/First Aid for Infant/Child/Adult
United States Master Swimming (USMS) Membership
