Job Description:
Master Data Management (MDM) Solution Architect, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Decatur, IL. Analyze and evaluate requirements to design solutions for the existing data applications and tools. Manage needs and expectations to deliver MDM solutions. Develop, maintain, and communicate each MDM Domain roadmap. Perform application portfolio management, including leading product introduction and retirement plans. Create a shared vision for the platform and facilitate decision-making. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compatibility of solution with company standards. Drive continuous improvement through established processes and by sharing knowledge of technology risks and opportunities. Train subordinates in MDM technology and best practices. Prioritize development requests based on business value and resource capacity. Lead knowledge transfer of code development to internal production support team. Manage consultant relationship to ensure optimal delivery of services. Establish MDM standards and ensure both MDM and company standards are met.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Computer Science and six (6) years of post-bachelor, progressive related work experience.
Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:
Data modeling or data architecture.Must have five (5) years of experience with/in:
Applying Enterprise MDM best practices and principles;
Designing and developing of Informatica MDM business solutions;
Implementing Informatica in a large-scale enterprise environment;
Performing Java and IDQ development;
Utilizing master data tools, including SAP MDG and MDM for data migration; and
Working in Agile.
100% Telecommuting is permitted.
Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
