Our client is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to positively changing the lives of at-risk youth in our community. We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to play a key role in managing and elevating our online presence. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in amplifying our mission by creating and implementing effective marketing strategies. The focus of this role is to build and maintain strong connections with urban youth, engaging them through various channels and platforms. Social media management will be a key component of this position, requiring creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of our target audience. Though experience is ideal, we will certainly consider applicants who are in school pursuing a path in Marketing and/or Communications. Qualifications:
Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
Understanding of youth demographics and community engagement.
strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking and ability to think strategically.
Familiarity with marketing analytics tools.

Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to effectively reach and engage our target audience.
Create compelling and shareable content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Monitor social media trends and implement innovative approaches to maximize online visibility.
Audience Engagement:
Foster meaningful connections with our online community.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Content Creation:
Generate creative and impactful content that aligns with our mission and resonates with our community.
Collaborate with program teams to showcase success stories, achievements, and the positive impact of our organization.
Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials.
Trend Monitoring:
Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Propose and implement innovative ideas to enhance our online presence.
Community Engagement:
Foster and maintain relationships with our target demographic, local community leaders, and partners.Collaboration:
Work closely with the communications team, program managers, and other stakeholders to align marketing efforts with overall organizational goals.
Support fundraising initiatives by creating marketing materials that resonate with potential donors.
