Our Global Instrumentation & Control (I&C) business is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our production facility located in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. Global I&C produces complex, electro-mechanical instrumentation systems used in commercial nuclear industry for customers worldwide.In this position, a Manufacturing Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following:Recommend and develop build sequences for variety of Safety and Non-Safety Nuclear I&C systemsWork effectively with I&C hardware design teams to resolve design issues on the production floorAnalyze nonconformances and provide instructions to technicians for rework & repairParticipate in weekly production meetings with planning, project engineering and project managementCollaborate with project team, shop technicians, QC, QA, supply chain, and planning when issues arise to drive solutions in safestWork with Production Planning and shop Technicians in development of production order operationsWork with Quality Control to prioritize inspections of procured and manufactured goods
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical disciplineAn understanding of commercial nuclear industry or other regulated industryStrong computer skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office productsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
