Two 1st shift positions (7 am to 3:30 pm) with possible overtime. If OT is needed, it will be required to work.
JOB DUTIES:Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process. Operates in a team environment.Provides support and troubleshooting for current operations.Investigate, gather, and analyze data and implement solutions.Innovates and implements cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas of moderate scope.Applies electronic tools across a broad range of applications, including e-builds, modeling, and simulations.Develop and implements plans to support lean manufacturing through the Client Production System of moderate scope.Designs operations layouts.Improves material flow and material presentation.Analyzes and makes modifications to existing performance pay plans; assists in the development of baseline data for new performance pay plans.
REQUIRED SKILLS:This person will be on the shop floor 85% of the time and 15% at a desk.Must be able to stand for long periods of time - This will include bending and lifting.Shop floor experience.Education- Bachelors in Engineering, or 5 years equivalent work experience.
