The Manager, Business Insights is responsible for establishing and delivering a strategy transforming how our Customer Support Center, field and store level colleagues create, govern, access, receive and follow up around analysis and insights geared toward driving the next best action in delivering business performance outcomes; unlocking Enterprise strategy through our Retail store footprint and most notably improving the colleague experience by delivering simplicity to empower outcomes.
Specifically, the Lead Director is responsible for three distinct portfolios of work:
Innovation of retail reporting, qualitative insights, and quantitative tracking implementation and evolution around reporting and business insights with respect to governance to include access, uniformity, and introducing a feedback loop to collaborate with content owners around utilization and the health of the specific metric(s) or driver(s) measured
Delivery of retail reporting and business insights: Ideation, implementation, and maintenance of a retail composite performance scorecard, such as the transformation of myStore Health, as well as resource and reporting platforms, like myReports or Field Digest via Tableau, that empower our front line colleagues with consolidated, easily accessible and prioritized insights to drive the next best action for the health of the business.

Required Qualifications
2+ years experience with retail finance and budgeting processes
2+ years experience with process improvement and project management
2+ years experience working in analytics with a track record of delivering insights and business impact
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of experience in CVS Retail store or field role(s)
4+ years experience with process improvement and project management
4+ years experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as predictive modeling and Machine Learning methods
Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve shared goals
Strong time management skills, evidenced by experience being accountable to multiple deliverables on staggered deadlines
Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech
Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to learn and accept feedback
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proficiency with SQL (Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.) and relational database concepts
Proficiency with R and/or Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
An interest and ability to dissect complex data systems to reconcile outputs and trace unexpected results.
Strategic, forward thinker; solution-driven, with sound analytical skills and ability to learn highly technical processes
Education Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics or similar field
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$63,300.00 - $139,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
