Product and Engineering (PandE) Strategy is a unique cross-product team, reporting directly to the office of the CPO, that works across all individual product houses and corporate functions to connect individual product strategies, identify new areas for growth, define clear strategies and articulate action plans for PandE to execute, remain competitive and win in new business ventures. First point to note is that PandE Strategy operates as a unit with team members remaining flexible and ready to contribute across any of the four pillars and execute against priority business problems and projects. This role will be biased towards Strategic Transformation which focuses on transforming and optimizing the way we build and run products ensuring alignment to PandE objectives. This role would be focused on driving better product outcomes for PandE through enhancing the Program model, enabling data driven product management, providing better insights to our Execs, optimizing return on investments and improving overall customer experience. Responsibilities:Transformation: Responsible for helping drive PandE wide Transformation initiatives across multiple areas Embed programs at the core of the business by supporting PandE leadership with their program and business strategies Enhance the product development process by proactively identifying optimization opportunities Lead cross functional efforts with stakeholders in MA Technology and other relevant teams to define and implement the operational risk and resilience approach for PandE Collaborate with PandE Finance to review program performance and to provide high quality insights to inform prioritization decisions on an ongoing basis Play a leading role in enabling data democratization and empowering PandE teams with reliable end to end data across the product lifecycleStrategy: Scanning market trends/developments and informing the product strategy agenda through research, analysis, market insights etc.; Partnering and managing relationships with product leaders and their teams to help them drive their execution agenda and deliver on their objectives; Contributing strategic thinking and delivering key payment product strategy projects for different product lines, typically owning a specific portion of the project and/or work stream; Conducting special, ad-hoc studies for to aid leadership in developing and/or framing their solutions; Participating and attending leadership meetings, and contribute to senior level discussions; Creating storylines to convey key messages and taking key stakeholder groups on a transformation journey;Experience: Relevant Bachelors Degree (e.g. economics, business, engineering, math, etc.).
