As a Manager – Learning and Development, you will manage a team responsible for identifying organizational learning and development needs, developing solutions to meet those needs, and creating and maintaining curriculum structures.
In this role you will:
Analyze learning needs, identify and develop new learning programs, and modify existing programs to ensure subject matter is current and relevant.
Identify learning needs based on business priorities.
Organize and lead course development team to select appropriate delivery formats; identify effective learning strategies.
Monitor team progress to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
Coordinate Learning Management System (LMS) technology needs, and ensure data is complete and error-free.
Use effective writing, editing, and instructional design skills to develop course materials.
What you bring to the table:
5 years of experience: Progressively responsible experience in training and development, HR positions, or commensurate business experience
Four-year degree: Learning, Instructional Design, HR, or relevant professional experience
Knowledge of instructional design systems, adult learning theory, and HRIS systems, specifically within LMS
Knowledge of business needs and trends and learning and development concepts across wide variety of media
Oral and written communication skills, instructional skills, and strategic analysis skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, supervise others to achieve goals, and work effectively with all levels of the organization
Ability to negotiate with vendors
Ability to understand basic financial concepts and monitor budget
Ability to use learning technologies such as web-based meeting tools, authoring tools, LMS
Some travel required
Pay Details:
The expected salary for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.
