  Job Summary

  The Clinical Imaging Research Center ( CIRC ) at UT Arlington seeks an organized and experienced professional with strong management skills to serve as Center Manager. The Center Manager will report to the director of the CIRC and will oversee the day-to-day activities of the center.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  Management daily operations: Inventory of CIRC supplies, Management of CIRC laundry services, Auxiliary equipment preventative maintenance and service requests, including, but not limited to, IV pumps, contrast injectors, physiological monitors, calorimetry, point of care device.

  Assist in development and maintenance of policies and standard operating procedures for Human MR Imaging– includes the 3 Tesla MRI scanner, procedure rooms and support rooms.

  Liaison between CIRC administration, the Principal Investigators and their study teams. Provide consultations for study implementation and CIRC orientation to all new researchers.

  Coordination of the CIRC MR Safety Training program and CIRC emergency response procedures.

  Prepare budgets for new and modified service projects.

  Assist with capital equipment and other budget considerations and planning for the CIRC . Prepare utilization reports for the CIRC Director for rate development and institutional reports.

  Management of iLab scheduling and billing operations. Assist with development and maintenance of the specific configurations for the CIRC .

  Work with billing coordinator to ensure collections are current.

  Assist with billing discrepancies. Troubleshoot scheduling problems.

  Administrator of the CIRC Protocol Review Committee that reviews and approves all service projects for human studies in the CIRC .

  Includes management of system to track approved studies, minutes for the PRC meetings, pre-review of new submissions, and correspondence to investigators.

  Provide consultation for regulatory requirements (new submissions IRB , SCCC , clinical trials.gov, etc.).

  May supervise support staff.

  Perform other duties as assigned.

  Required Qualifications

  Master’s degree in bioengineering, science, kinesiology or related field with Five (5) years of full time research experience.

  Experience managing complex projects.

  Demonstrated experience in managing large, multi-disciplinary projects and adept at time management & task prioritization.

  Demonstrated skills to envision, implement, and adapt scope of work, budgets and schedules.

  Ability to manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines.

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience with UTA policies and systems.

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  Experience using attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment .

  Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and other project management software.

  Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills to explain plans and programs clearly to stakeholders.
