Leads Category Leadership Planning with strategic customers,ensuring executive-level alignment and ownership of CategoryLeadership plans and execution strategyManages Category Leadership Analyst(s)Develops thought leadership by translating knowledge and data from avariety of sources into forward thinking insights that form thebasis for new or evolved strategic directionInteracts with cross-functional teams within Lamb Weston and atstrategic customersIdentifies opportunities and recommended actions by conductingmarket analyses of category for strategic customer and account teamSupports new item plans from a category perspectiveConducts periodic and annual category reviewsOversees the conduct of category segmentation and assortmentanalyses for specific customersSupports the development of sales presentations for the accountmanagement team utilizing a category perspectiveDevelops joint scorecard with specific customers to measure andevaluate plan successBasic & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree preferred7 + years of related experience or a related combination ofeducation and experiencePrior experience managing and developing a team required; remotepeople management desired.Proficient PC skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIn-depth expertise in the use and applications of a variety oftechnologies and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (withemphasis on Excel) and Syndicated data sources (IRI, Nielsen,SPINS); ability to work with raw retailer data, e.g. POS, FSP,Retail Link; space management software (Space Planning, Apollo,Spaceman) a plus.Experience in accessing and analyzing of industry-appropriate datasources a plusAbility to travel independently up to 50% of the timeIndustry-Competitive Benefits
