Your JobGeorgia-Pacific Corrugated division is seeking a strategic Maintenance Supervisor to join the leadership team in Albion, MI. The successful candidate will provide tactical leadership to the maintenance organization to ensure maintenance and reliability strategies further the plant's safety, environmental and operational objectives. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the maintenance department to ensure that the maintenance department is meeting the objectives in EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production cost and customer service. Lead and support preventative and predictive maintenance programs, provide technical support for troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize process efficiencies. Establish metrics, goals, and benchmarks that drive excellence through promoting continuous process improvement, employee involvement, ownership, and accountability. The Maintenance team runs 24/7 shifts.Our TeamThe Albion plant employs 70 people and serves customers across the nation providing them with Corrugated sheets. What You Will DoDrive reliability programs including predictive and preventive maintenance strategiesMonitor equipment downtime and lead/participate in the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process to identify problems and failuresEnsure safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountabilityProcess work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Spot check random work orders closed to history to ensure all data (detailed comments, parts, labor, and work request status is correct)Manage the Day-to-Day actives of the work forces and unplanned eventsDistribute & Manage scheduled work orders >dailyManage Kronos for maintenance employeesParticipate in weekly planning/scheduling meetingParticipation in root cause analyses/Facilitate root cause analysis processTraining/advancement of maintenance personnelTrain on work processes/systems with new hires to promote development and growth with employees
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Previous experience in a maintenance leadership role in a manufacturing/industrial environment OR military environmentExperience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordinationMust have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
What Will Put You AheadExperience and working knowledge with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Associate degree or higher in Industrial Technology or EngineeringExperience leading improvement efforts in Reliability and Predictive and Preventive Maintenance
