Maintenance - Millwright/Machine Repair

　　Description

　　JOB SCOPE:

　　Disassembly and set-up of large machinery, lathes, drill presses, boringmills, etc. Layout of foundations, positioning of anchor bolts, leveling ofequipment. Operate heavy equipment. Scraping, fitting, aligning, assembly,disassembly, and reassembly of machinery. Diagnose troubles, repair defectiveparts and make new parts. Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Operate all types of machine tools. Utilize and interpret blueprints andsketches. Lubricate plant equipment. Hoists, crones, rigging, bracketry,and related parts. Collection, disposal, and storage of hazardous waste.

　　RESPONSIBILITES:

　　Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification.

　　Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner.

　　Perform assigned work to specified quality and production standards.

　　Maintain equipment and tools used by the individual in a clean condition.

　　Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individual's immediate work area in a clean condition.

　　Prepare and/or maintain all documentation necessary to the duties of the job classification.

　　Multi-shift operation. Shift preferences are chosen by seniority. Liklihood that position could be offshift.Qualifications

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　High School Diploma or GED

　　Must pass relevant Millwright test

　　Completion of Certificate Program or Trade School program in pneumatic & hydraulic systems and 2 years Machine Repair experience; or

　　Construction background experience with operation of heavy equipment AND 3 years MAINTENANCE MECHANIC experience
