　　What you will be doing:

　　Skill in the use of hand and electrical tools with familiarity of parts and materials for maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, finishes, masonry, and FF&E.

　　Performs rounds on critical systems and can identify/trouble shoot system deficiencies.

　　Performs preventive maintenance on product and all major equipment.

　　Maintain, clean and organize a properly stocked storeroom by keeping an inventory of supplies, parts and equipment manuals to quickly complete repairs

　　Obtains price quotations and fills out requisitions for parts and supplies.

　　Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)

　　Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures

　　Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times

　　Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel

　　Qualifications

　　Your experience and skills include:

　　Service oriented with an eye for details

　　Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team

　　Self-motivated and energetic

　　Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times

　　Must have working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and Hot water generation systems including devices such as pressure regulators, solenoid valves, gas valves, electrical relays, etc.

　　Must be knowledgeable of OSHA work place safety standards such as PPE, Lock Out Tag Out, Ladder Safety, HAZCOM and similar.

　　Visual ability to read manufacturer's instructions, schematics and blueprints.

　　Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and solve customer concerns.

　　Stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, seeing, hearing, speaking to guests

　　Ability to work under harsh weather conditions, i.e. heat, wind and rain. 

　　Lifting requirements up to 25 lbs.

　　Carrying of objects weighting up to 50lbs.

　　Valid Driver’s License
